FAQ
Where are you based and do you travel?
We are based out of Raleigh, NC. However, we have filmed and photographed weddings all over the state of North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia, Indiana, and have even had bookings in California and Costa Rica! We do require travel fees depending on the distance and overnight accommodations as needed. Please inquire with us, even if you are unsure! We love to travel, and will work it out if we can!
Can we book you for JUST photography or JUST videography? Can we book you for both?
Yes, yes, and yes! In the past year, we have most commonly booked one or the other at a given wedding. However, sometimes couples book us for both!
Each of our photography and videography packages includes two shooters. This means, if you book us for one or the other, the two of us will be there on your wedding day to provide that chosen service. If you book us for both (YAY!), Caroline will be your lead videographer with her own second shooter, and Tanika will be your lead photographer with her own second shooter.
When will we get our photos?
You will receive an online gallery link with all your photos within 6 weeks of your wedding date. All images can be easily downloaded from the gallery and shared!
How many pictures will we receive?
For an 8 hour - coverage wedding day, you will receive anywhere between 400 and 900 fully edited images. We always choose quality rather than quantity and that's where it absolutely varies depending on your day. We can assure you that we will choose the most significant, sweet and beautiful photos to tell your story!
Can I substitute something else for the complimentary engagement session?
We love to include a complimentary engagement session with each wedding package so that we can get to know you a little before the big day! You will get comfortable with our style and posing, and we will get familiar with who you are so we can better capture your beautiful wedding! We understand if you can't book an engagement session with us as sometimes schedules are busy or a couple has already had an engagement session prior to booking with us. However, we love this part of your package and do not currently offer discounts or substitutions in its place.
Can we personalize our own video song, shot list, or other preferences we may have?
Yes! A few months before the wedding, once you have all your major details planned out, we will send you a questionnaire asking for ton of information about your day! We will ask about your preferences, and be mindful of your input (while ultimately using our own professional judgment and creativity). Besides, it's YOUR day!
